Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world. At present, Brazil has a population of about 200 million people.

Approximately 80% of the population ascribes to the Roman Catholic faith. This is due to the intense Portuguese occupation of centuries ago.

The Brazilian culture is one of the world’s most varied and diverse, due to the many different ethnicites from all over the world. There are many people from Europe, Japan and China.

Landscape

The landscape of Brazil is dominated by huge rainforests, these are the largest in the world, but all in all the landscape of Brazil is very various, there are hills, mountains, plains, highlands, and scrublands. Moreover, Brazil has a long coastline and the Brazilian beaches are among the most beautiful on earth.

Brazilian cuisine varies greatly by region, reflecting the country’s mix of indigenous and immigrant populations. The average meal consist mostly of rice and beans with beef and salad.
