Lesson Objectives: Students make up a survey on how people damage the environment, plot the results and write a short conclusion about it.

Resources: Worksheets, article, documentary

Warm-up: Scatter litter around the class as soon as entering, have them try to guess the topic of the lesson.

Prepare the worksheets.

Teaching 1: Read an article to the students about pollution caused by people.

Task 1: Students answer a worksheet about the article.

Teaching 2: Make students watch a short documentary about pollution caused by people.

Task 2: Have a discussion about the documentary.

Teaching 3: Divide the students into groups ask them to construct a survey about how people are contributing to the environmental issues with their lifestyles.

Task 3: Students make up the survey, plot the results and write a short conclusion about it.

Follow-up: Students fill in each other’s surveys.
